Program Overview

Seeking a career pivot or aiming to augment your skill set with advanced knowledge in blockchain development? The first of its kind in Canada, our one-year Blockchain Development graduate certificate program is centred on the design and deployment of decentralized applications, leveraging blockchain technology and offering a holistic understanding of the blockchain domain.

We meticulously developed this program with the invaluable support of seasoned professionals from the blockchain industry. Using a full-time executive format, the program consists of approximately 20 hours per week of evening classes, spread over a 26-week period. This structure ensures you get a balanced mix of theoretical knowledge with hands-on, project-based learning.

Here are some skills you'll be able to show off after completing this program:

  • smart contracts
  • design patterns for blockchain
  • decentralized system development
  • full stack development and integration
  • blockchain architecture, security practices, laws and regulations and more

In your last semester, you’ll have the option to undertake a co-op work placement or work-integrated project where you’ll apply your new knowledge and skills in a practical setting. This opportunity will give you valuable real-world experience and networking opportunities with industry professionals.
