Yeshiva University’s M.S. in quantitative economics (MQE), based in New York City, blends macroeconomics and microeconomics, econometrics, probability/statistics, computation, behavioral economics and data science to inform monetary and fiscal policy, labor markets, public finance, market design, and more. Merit Scholarship Dean's Scholarship |
Merit Scholarship-Merit Scholarships are awarded as a part of the admissions process based on the applicant's performance in high school. Overall GPA, standardized test scores (if available), as well as other supporting information is taken into consideration for eligibility. All first-time applicants, who have not applied for honors and are not transfer applicants are automatically considered for this scholarship. Award is renewable for up to four years of full-time study at one of our New York campuses and maintenance of satisfactory academic performance and good standing. Dean's Scholarship-Dean's Scholarships are awarded as a part of the admissions process based on the applicant's performance in high school. Overall GPA, standardized test scores (if available), as well as other supporting information are taken into consideration for eligibility. Dean's Scholars are granted permission to register for honors courses and participate in designated honors activities (space permitting). All first-time applicants, who are not applying as a transfer student are automatically considered for this scholarship. Award is renewable for up to four years of full-time study at one of our New York campuses and maintenance of satisfactory academic performance and good standing. Optional Practical Training or OPT is a period during which students, who have completed their degrees in the USA, are permitted to work for one year on a student visa by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). OPT allows students to work for up to 3 years and develop real-world skills to survive in the competitive jobs market.
It is temporary employment for a period of 12-months that is directly related to the major area of study of an F-1 student. Eligible students have the option to apply for OPT employment authorization before completing their academic studies and/or after completing their academic studies.
