Program Overview

At Northeastern, a business education integrates the theory and practice of management through active learning, problem-driven research, corporate partnerships, and experiential assignments. As part of the degree program, all students are expected to participate in the co-op program, where they participate in paid work placements related to their field of study.

As your first year draws to a close, you’ll take an important professional step and declare a concentration in at least one of our principal fields of business. The corporate innovation and venture concentration will teach you how to develop new businesses, products, services, or processes inside of an existing organization, creating value and generating new revenue growth through entrepreneurial thought and action.

This concentration incorporate innovation and venture will launch your career as an agent of change. You’ll reinvigorate established companies, aspiring to leading roles in areas such as product development, new business research, and innovation-related projects. This concentration will prepare you for co-op aspirations that involve positions in entry-level product line management, project management, consulting, and new product and service development within corporations.
