National Louis University's Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology at the Florida School of Professional Psychology will introduce you to basic clinical skills that enable you to serve the mental health needs of diverse client populations. The program is designed to meet the needs of both those continuing on to a doctoral program and those seeking a terminal Master’s degree. The theoretical and clinical knowledge learned in the program can be applied to independent practice under certain conditions.

With a degree in Clinical Psychology, you’ll be open to a number of different careers that are well-compensated. Psychologist occupations are expected to grow 3 percent from 2019-2029, keeping pace with the average growth rate for all jobs. The median salary for a Psychologist was $80,370 in 2019.* Opportunities for mental health counselors, meanwhile, are projected to grow 25 percent during that same time frame.**
Employment growth will vary by specialty, but more professionals will be needed to, for example, provide services to an aging population, veterans, trauma survivors and individuals with autism.

National Louis University International Opportunity scholarships
All international students admitted to a National Louis University Bachelor's degree program will receive an annual, renewable scholarship equal to 10% of the full-time tuition rate (valued up to $7,599* ).
Eligibility
Optional Practical Training or OPT is a period during which students, who have completed their degrees in the USA, are permitted to work for one year on a student visa by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). OPT allows students to work for up to 3 years and develop real-world skills to survive in the competitive jobs market.
It is temporary employment for a period of 12-months that is directly related to the major area of study of an F-1 student. Eligible students have the option to apply for OPT employment authorization before completing their academic studies and/or after completing their academic studies.
