  • Communication Skills
  • Medical Terminology
  • Laboratory Mathematics

How does Oulton prepare students for this field?
Oulton College works hand-in-hand with leading hospitals and regional laboratories to ensure our graduates are highly skilled and prepared to enter the work force directly from their practicum. Our Medical Laboratory Assistant Program is accredited with the Canadian Medical Association.

Students receive theoretical training in the classroom in addition to direct hands-on experience in our modern Health Science Lab. While there are plenty of hands-on activities during the 10 months of your program, you will also complete 5-weeks of Practicum with our partnered health care facilities.
