Gain the advanced chemical, biological, and technical knowledge you need to discover and develop new medications and drug delivery technologies that improve lives.
In this two- to three-year program at our Boston and Worcester campuses, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside professional experts in modern laboratories to gain a firm understanding of the materials and technologies associated with pharmaceutical product development, manufacture, and evaluation. You’ll study dosage forms and the release of drugs from dosage form as well as pharmacokinetics- the process by which a drug is absorbed, distributed, metabolized, and eliminated by the body. You’ll also have the option of enrolling in our non-thesis Master of Pharmaceutics. This four-semester program will provide you with the in-depth knowledge you need in the areas of formulation and drug delivery. Both programs start in the fall.

Optional Practical Training or OPT is a period during which students, who have completed their degrees in the USA, are permitted to work for one year on a student visa by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). It is temporary employment for a period of 12-months that is directly related to the major area of study of an F-1 student. Eligible students have the option to apply for OPT employment authorization before completing their academic studies and/or after completing their academic studies.
