Program Overview
Columbia College offers a Bachelor of Science program in Mathematics which is a four year baccalaureate degree. Unlike the Bachelor of Arts degree, this course deals with the subject of mathematics with respect to science and the relationship between mathematics and science and how they are complimentary to one another. Columbia has a great faculty of expert mathematicians, state of the art services and excellent placement records which make this a very desirable course. Students have a number of career options after completing a degree in mathematics namely accountancy & finance, banking, actuarial career, statistician, careers in academia & research, engineering and many more.
Over the years a number of students have graduated in the field of mathematics from Columbia College and made great careers. The four year program helps students deal with the basic fundamentals of mathematics and gradually delves into the deeper aspects of the subject. The Associate of Science program is a 60 credit points program and once students complete their degree they can transfer these credits and seek admission in a full-fledged program under several great universities.
