Program Overview
Animation is a growing industry that has gained major popularity over the years. Anyone who is interested in old school 2D animation and digital art can take up this 15 month long undergraduate program offered by Centre for Arts & Technology, Kelowna. This in-depth program prepares graduates for a range of roles in the animation industry. Our program runs for four consecutive terms to fast-track you into launching your career, simulating the intensity of working in a real-world production studio. Along with exceptional teaching and learning atmosphere, students are guided by a group of professionals in the field of animation who have worked in the field for a long time and can guide the students at all times.
This program opens up a number of doors for students such as Digital Animator, Character Designer, Storyboard Revisionist, Layout Artist, Background Artist and Illustrator. The Centre for Arts and Technology has been offering this program for over 20 years and has definitely carved a niche for itself.
