Master of Science - Chemical and Environmental Toxicology

Program Overview

The study of effect of toxic substances on living systems is known as Toxicology. Carleton University Master’s program enhances the knowledge and skills of students enrolled in this program.  Toxic substances may be organic or inorganic, synthetic or natural.

As the program helps in various researches, environmental toxicology enhances its aspects of chemical transport, biological accumulation, fate, persistence and their effects at the population and community levels. The Ottawa zone is home to various natural and biotechnology organizations. A few government divisions are associated with the examination that prompts ecological enactment and guidelines, and more than 100 organizations are directing exploration in medicinal, rural, and natural biotechnology. Relationship with these associations, just as with the National Capital Commission, national exhibition halls, and the National Research Council Canada, give an unmatched foundation to study and vocation openings in this field.
