Program Overview

Our applied Finance programme is a specialist degree, responding to the rapid growth in global financial services. It is particularly suited to those looking to pursue a career in banking or investment management sectors, both nationally and internationally, covering a range of relevant specialist courses in finance.

Finance courses are taught by academics and experienced practitioners, and you'll have the opportunity to make use of the university’s state-of-the-art Bloomberg Finance Lab to gain employable, practical finance skills.

Throughout this four-year degree, you’ll gain theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the areas of:

Asset pricing
Portfolio construction
Corporate finance
Financial risk management

Scholarships

We are pleased to announce that we are offering scholarships on a first-come, first-served basis. Second Round of Scholarship Deadline - 31 March 2025 - Heriot Watt University, UK Campus

Flexible Payment Option: Students can opt for partial deposit of £1000 before the deadline and reserve their seat and scholarship for the intake, pay balance deposit of £3000 to obtain the CAS

English Language Test Results: Students with ELT conditions are encouraged to share their test details for us to update their records
