Pre-Masters in Business, Management and Marketing
The Pre-Master's in Business, Management & Marketing will refresh your subject knowledge and improve your English language skills, preparing you for your postgraduate degree at the University of Huddersfield’s Business School.
The Pre-Master's programme is specially designed to prepare ambitious international students with the skills and understanding needed to succeed in a postgraduate degree at Huddersfield. With a postgraduate degree, you can improve your career opportunities and salary potential, and even change career direction after completing your undergraduate degree.
This programme consists of twenty hours of teaching time per week, taught over a single semester with a choice of modules, all taught on the University campus.

Leading to: International Business with Marketing MSc
This course places emphasis on a market-oriented, customer driven approach to planning and implementing marketing strategies. You’ll develop knowledge and skills to undertake strategic analysis of markets, and create, adapt and implement strategy.
You’ll have the opportunity to gain a critical understanding of the rapidly changing and dynamic international business environment, and the skills needed to analyse the strategies and operations of multinational enterprises l. This programme will provide the opportunity for you to study a wide range of topics in international business, from both a theoretical and practical perspective.
The course is designed to enable you to tailor it to your own personal and career interests, with a number of option modules available.

Scholarships for your pathway programme and degree at Huddersfield:
How does it work?
Scholarships of up to £4,000 are available for students studying a pathway programme at the International Study Centre. These scholarships are awarded to students based on merit and are subject to availability. For more information, please contact your local representative.
Once you progress to the University of Huddersfield, the University then award scholarships of £2,000 each academic year to international students progressing from the International Study Centre. These scholarships apply to every year of your degree programme in the UK, except for placement years.
Am I eligible for the joint scholarship?
The scholarship is available to students studying the International Foundation Year, International Year One and Pre-Master’s programmes at the International Study Centre. At the University, you must be studying either a BA, BSc, BEng, MA, MSc or MBA to be eligible for the scholarship.
How do I get a scholarship?
The joint scholarship is available for self-funded students at UK universities, paying full overseas fees.
University scholarships are applied automatically on progression from the International Study Centre, with no application required.
There are various options through which a student can get a post study work visa in the UK.
Tier 1 Graduate Entrepreneur Visa for the graduates with a genuine and credible business idea.
Tier 2 (General) is the leading immigration visa to work in the UK.
Tier 4 Doctorate Extension Scheme is for students who have completed their Ph.D. and is valid for 12 months for them to work, look for work or set up a business.
Tier 5 Youth Mobility is for individuals of certain countries like Australia, Canada, Japan, Monaco, Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, and New Zealand aged between 18 -30 who wish to move to the UK.
Tier 5 GAE is for individuals who want to come to the UK for work experience, training, research or a fellowship.
UK Ancestry is for individuals who are a citizen of a commonwealth and plan to work in the UK and have a grandparent who was born in the UK.
