Progress to UCD with the International Foundation Year in Business, Economics and Social Sciences. This pathway leads to undergraduate study at the renowned Quinn School of Business, the College of Social Sciences and Law as well as the College of Arts and Humanities.
Economics and Finance
If you have a strong interest or ability in economics, maths and statistics, this degree provides everything you need for a future career in the areas of ?nancial economics, banking and ?nance. Recognised as one of the premier degrees in Ireland and internationally in these areas, it equips students with outstanding expertise in quantitative methods, analytical skills and a rigorous preparation in economics and ?nance. The competence in quantitative methods and analytical skills that the programme develops are valuable on their own in many careers and provide the essential background for learning Economics & Finance.

Undergraduate scholarships for international Students:
University College Dublin and the International Study Centre are offering joint scholarships of up to €19,000 to international students.* The scholarship is available towards your tuition at the International Study Centre, as well as for your chosen progression degree at UCD.
Scholarships for UCD Students:
The following scholarships are available for students studying an International Foundation Year at the International Study Centre. After progressing to your undergraduate degree, you will continue to receive funding towards your study in Ireland. The two different scholarships are:

Am I eligible for the joint Scholarship?
All self-funded students are eligible for the joint scholarship, excluding those who are progressing to degrees in Economics and Finance and Biomedical Science Health and Life Sciences. Sponsored students are not eligible for these scholarships. To be eligible, you must:
