Program Overview

Build on a background in engineering or computer science to take a leading role in protecting computer networks. The U.S. government has named NYIT as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education, and the internationally acclaimed Information, Network, and Computer Security, M.S. (M.S.-INCS) program, is now available at our Vancouver campus. Occupations in which M.S.-INCS graduates are in great demand and include:

  • Information Systems Managers
  • Computer and Network Managers
  • Computer Engineers and Scientists
  • Information Systems Analysts and Consultants, and
  • Security Analysts

This program is ideally suited for students with engineering, computer science, and other related backgrounds who intend to play a leading role in the implementation and management of computer and network security systems. The program is supported by NYIT’s New York based Network and Information Security Laboratory. This laboratory is available to students at our Vancouver campus.
