Humber’s Electrical Engineering Technician - Trades program equips students with the practical skills and theoretical knowledge necessary to excel in a wide range of electrical fields. The program is designed to align with industry practices, ensuring that graduates can effectively perform a range of essential electrical functions including installation, testing, maintenance, repair, analysis and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment under the supervision of qualified professionals.

Electrical and electronics engineering technologists and technicians may work independently or provide technical support and services in the design, development, testing, production and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems. They are employed by electrical utilities, communications companies, manufacturers of electrical and electronic equipment, and a wide range of manufacturing, processing, and transportation industries. There is anticipated job growth both within the Greater Toronto Hamilton Area and nationally.
