International Regional Entrance Scholarship

The International Regional Entrance Scholarships were established to financially support international students coming to Langara College in pursuit of higher education. Applicants can apply for the $7,500 award if they are planning to start their full-time undergraduate studies in the specified semester. Eligible recipients will have $5,000 applied towards the cost of tuition and fees in their first term of study. Recipients must maintain a CGPA of 2.67 in their first term and be registered full-time in an eligible program to receive the balance of their award as tuition credit in their second term of study. Eligibility Criteria

Recipients will:

Newly admitted or conditionally admitted to Langara as a full fee-paying international student for the specified semester;
Intend to study full-time (nine or more credits) in a regular studies undergraduate program or in an eligible full-time Continuing Studies program;
Have a minimum 80% GPA from high school or post-secondary institution.
- Post-secondary only to be considered if a full credential has been completed from a college or university outside of Canada.
  - Final CGPA in bachelor’s degrees will be considered first for all applicants.
  - Masters will be considered only in situations where an applicant’s final CGPA in their bachelor’s degree does not meet the minimum 80% requirement.
Be from one of the following regions: Americas, Africa, South Asia, Southeast Asia, East Asia, Middle East, Europe, or CIS.
