Program Overview

With this one-year General Arts and Science - Pre-Animation and Illustration Ontario College Certificate program, you explore your interest in art, drawing, animation, life drawing, illustration and comic books. The program provides you with the opportunity to determine if you have the interest, motivation, creativity and dexterity to pursue a career in animation, illustration or concept art.

The program focuses on building a strong portfolio that contains images with strong composition, structure and observation-based samples. The goal of the program is to prepare you for further study, rather than moving directly into the chosen industry.
