Minimum Level of Education Required: To be accepted for this program, applicants must normally hold a Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification and have achieved a Grade Point Average of 5.0 or above and must demonstrate they have successfully completed the following:

• the equivalent of 9 units of study focusing on human physiology, including one dedicated topic of exercise physiology; and
• the equivalent of 9 units of human anatomy, including one dedicated topic of human musculoskeletal and neurological anatomy; and
• the equivalent of 4.5 units of study focusing on an understanding of the human and social environment and social perspectives in health such as psychology and sociology; and
• the equivalent of 4.5 units of study in research methods and/or evidence-based practice

• Minimum CGPA Required: 70.00 %

Professional accreditation/recognition
The course is accredited by the Australian Physiotherapy Council and satisfies the academic requirements for registration as a physiotherapist with the Physiotherapist Board of Australia. We encourage students to join as members of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.

Scholarships

Students who have completed their studies in Australia can apply for a Post Study Work Permit or a Temporary Graduate Visa (subclass 485) to continue working in Australia post the completion of their study programs. As an international student, one can apply for the visa but not later than six months after completing your course. But to be eligible, you must meet the Australian Study Requirements, which include a minimum of 16 months of stay in Australia and a completing 92 weeks of a course registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).
