Graduates who choose to focus on Nursing Education are prepared for current and upcoming faculty and clinical supervision positions in baccalaureate nursing programs. Electives in nursing education will prepare nurse educators with the latest knowledge and skills for teaching in a variety of clinical and classroom settings.
Graduates who choose to focus on Nursing Leadership are in a unique position to provide highly effective leadership in today's changing, complex health care environments, as managers and professional practice leaders. Electives will prepare nurse leaders with integrated interdisciplinary nursing knowledge, demonstrated interpersonal and inter-professional communication, population health and the social contexts of health and illness, and emerging knowledge about health care organizations and leadership theory.
Graduates who choose to focus on Advanced Practice of Nursing develop capabilities to work in advanced practice roles, particularly as a clinical nurse specialist (CNS) in an array of practice settings. Students explore advanced practice including both direct client care and indirect activities to meet the complex health needs of Canadians and contribute to a sustainable, efficient, and effective health system. Electives will prepare nurse leaders to apply a holistic and person-centered approach to consult, advocate, and coordinate care for specific clients/populations through intra-professional, inter-professional, and intersectoral collaboration.

The Post- Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) allows you to work for three years in Canada if you have completed a two years degree or more.
You can either apply online or download the form and mail the application along with the required documents. Pay your fee and then wait for the decision to come.
To apply for the work visa, you need a degree from a recognized and accredited Canadian University along with an intention to stay and work in Canada only temporarily.
