Are you fascinated by how the brain works? Ever wondered how neuroscience can make a real difference in the world of healthcare? Our neuroscience major with a focus on clinical health is designed for students eager to explore the complexities of the human brain. Students go on to post-graduate studies and pursue impactful careers in research, psychology or health professions.
Why choose clinical neuroscience?
Clinical neuroscientists study the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nervous system, exploring how these systems operate in both health and disease. They investigate a wide range of conditions, including Alzheimer's disease, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis and stroke. Their work involves everything from conducting research on neurological diseases to developing therapies and treatments.
At CMU, you won’t just study clinical neuroscience; you’ll experience it. From hands-on research opportunities to expert faculty who are passionate about guiding the next generation of clinical neuroscientists, we’re here to help turn your curiosity into meaningful action. If your dream is to unlock the mysteries of the mind and help others, this is where it begins.
