Program Overview

Prepare for a rewarding career as a registered nurse with the Master of Nursing (Pre-Registration). This program combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience, equipping you to deliver high-quality, sustainable care across diverse healthcare settings. Develop critical thinking, tackle complex challenges, and position yourself as a future leader in global healthcare.

The course covers professional nursing subjects, applied sciences, research, and contemporary nursing practices. You'll engage in collaborative learning through simulated clinical labs, interactive tutorials, and 840 hours of clinical placements in various settings and health districts. Please note, travel to different clinical facilities will be required to complete placements.

The Master of Nursing (Pre-Registration), works on an extended academic year. First year commences with an intensive January session followed by Autumn and Spring sessions.

Students who have completed their studies in Australia can apply for a Post Study Work Permit or a Temporary Graduate Visa (subclass 485) to continue working in Australia post the completion of their study programs. As an international student, one can apply for the visa but not later than six months after completing your course. But to be eligible, you must meet the Australian Study Requirements, which include a minimum of 16 months of stay in Australia and a completing 92 weeks of a course registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).
