Program Overview

International Year One in Marketing and Advertising
Our Marketing and Advertising International Year One will prepare you to join the second year of the BSc (Hons) Marketing and Advertising with Business Experience degree at Kingston University London. Throughout this programme, you will gain an insight into the marketing and advertising industries, and be given English language support that will develop your speaking, writing and academic skills.

This programme aims to provide you with a great introduction to your future career, and the progression degree also incorporates Business Experience during the standard three years of study. By gaining early experience in the industry of your choice, you can build the skills and confidence you need to increase your employability and transition into your career with success.

Once you have successfully completed your International Year One and achieved the required progression grades, you can join the second year of the intended undergraduate degree.

Leading to: Marketing and Advertising BSc (Hons)
The course is designed in consultation with leading industry experts, bringing together the latest theories and practices in marketing. You'll explore the role and function of contemporary and digital marketing in modern business, so when you graduate, you'll be at the edge of the job market with the knowledge and skills employers seek.

You can gain hands-on marketing experience through an internship, or develop your skills as a consultant by working in a team on a live project. Another option is to delve into entrepreneurship and create your own start-up with support from the Business School.
