The Foundation Studies program is equivalent to Year 12 and prepares you for entry into first year degree studies.

Course Structure
In your Foundation Studies program, you’ll study four subjects in each of your two trimesters. You’ll also undertake independent learning to develop learning and research skills to prepare you for university.

Gain the analytical and conceptual skills needed to diagnose today’s complex social problems from a range of perspectives. See the world in new ways by exploring topics like contemporary Australian society and popular culture, gender and sexuality, inequality and conflict, migration and multiculturalism, relationships and emotions, health and mental illness, education and work, sport and gaming, social media and technology. Examine social relationships and institutions, while learning how to conduct research, interpret policy and address urgent societal challenges.
