Accelerated Pre-Masters Programme Business, Humanities, Social Sciences and Law (ICAS) (1 Term)
If you have already gained your undergraduate degree in your home country, studying your Masters in the UK is a great way to combine the benefits of a postgraduate degree with the benefits of studying in an English-speaking country. Our Accelerated Pre-Masters Programme is designed specifically to help international students like you gain the skills needed for international study in just one term, beginning your chosen Masters degree with the knowledge and confidence to thrive.

Please note that you are expected to attend 100% of your classes at the International Study Centre or you are at risk of losing your Student visa

Combined visa for Accelerated Pre-Master's Programme
Save time and progress smoothly to the University with a combined visa. The visa covers the duration of your studies at both the International Study Centre and Teesside University.
- No need to return home to apply for a new visa between your Accelerated Pre-Master's Programme and chosen postgraduate degree.
- Alternatives to Academic IELTS for UKVI can be used to join the Accelerated Pre-Master's Programme.
- No need for an additional IELTS test before joining your postgraduate degree.

Progress to your degree
Once you complete your Accelerated Pre-Masters Programme pathway and achieve the required grades, you will be able to join your chosen Masters degree at Teesside University. By completing this pathway, you will be able to progress to the following degrees.
Leading to: International Business Management and Accountancy (Applied) MSc
This course provides clear links between theory and practice and places discussion of relevant management techniques and themes in the context of the international stage. You gain specialist knowledge of the global economy, financial reporting requirements and financial management in a global marketplace and gain insight into the process of detecting and preventing financial crime.This course equips you with the skills and knowledge for a higher-level career in business management, and allows you to develop employability skills and UK experience to further enhance your employability. It provides clear links between theory and international business practice, and places discussion of relevant management techniques and themes in the context of the international stage. It focuses on areas such as global decision-making within operations and finance, global economics and cultural issues within management in an international environment. The work-based module in your second year provides access to an organisation to enable you to put into practice these skills and gain valuable experience of working within a UK-based organisation.The programme concludes with the dissertation, which provides the opportunity for you to carry out a major international business project. It provides a basis for students from business or other disciplines looking for management careers but who do not yet have significant management experience. It equips you with:
- knowledge and understanding of the global influences on business and an ability to analyse management decisions in an international setting
- an understanding of recent advances in management theory, research and practice.
