Program Overview

Become a Year 7-12 teacher in Health and Physical Education or Marine Science, plus another teaching area. A double degree presents greater options. Potentially pursue a career outside schools in outdoor and environmental education centres, adventure tourism or ecotourism.

Minimum Level of Education Required: To be accepted for this program, students must have Standard XII Higher Secondary Certificate or equivalent, including the following course(s):

Recommended prior study: A General science subject (Units 3 and 4, C), Health and Physical Education (Units 3 and 4, C). It is recommended that students obtain First Aid and CPR certificates.

Students who have completed their studies in Australia can apply for a Post Study Work Permit or a Temporary Graduate Visa (subclass 485) to continue working in Australia post the completion of their study programs. As an international student, one can apply for the visa but not later than six months after completing your course.
