The electronic engineering technology associate degree in avionics gives students the necessary and highly-demanded technical foundation needed for this field. Is electronic engineering a career you are considering? Our program will allow you to pursue the field for the first time, build upon your previous education, or give you the opportunity to move on to a bachelor’s level degree in engineering. Many Vaughn associate students in the avionics program move on to our bachelor’s level degrees in avionics and other areas of engineering.
Avionics encompasses electronic communication, navigation, radar, surveillance and flight control systems. These systems have all become more complex, integrated and computer-controlled, and our students are taught to be adaptive problem-solvers?all with the knowledge and experience to manage them.
