This degree is designed for the student interested in holistic, hands-on treatments in healthcare. Students seeking a Bachelor of Science in Medicine with an emphasis in Integrative and Practice-Focused Medicine study the internal and external sources of medical conditions and gain real-world experience with treatment. LEARNING OUTCOMES

- Describe social determinants of health including racial/ethnic disparities, and apply scientific evidence, best practices, and professional judgment to proposing strategies to mitigate negative impacts of social factors on health outcomes.
- Demonstrate understanding of professional and ethical responsibility in independent and/or multidisciplinary team settings.
- Demonstrate skills needed to engage in life-long learning, including the ability to find and critically evaluate relevant information, and apply it to solving clinical problems.
