International Year One in Civil Engineering

The International Year One in Civil Engineering will prepare you with the necessary academic, subject-specific and English language skills and knowledge required to progress to the University of Leeds.

Comprising distinguished academics and industry professionals, this impressive faculty places research at the core of learning, supported by state-of-the-art laboratory and computing facilities.

Throughout the International Year One programme, students gain exclusive access to select laboratories and facilities at the University of Leeds, enhancing their learning experience.

The next generation of architectural engineers will bring together a range of skills, disciplines and technologies and apply them in new and exciting ways. From harnessing the power of renewables and managing energy use more efficiently, to designing for reuse and using technology to enhance lighting, acoustics and comfort within a building.

You’ll also have access to extensive library facilities, industry-standard software and impressive laboratories with specialist facilities for structures, materials, public health engineering, building services and geotechnics – everything you need to begin your career as an architectural engineer.
