The Network Operations emphasis prepares you to work on computer networks that have evolved from simple packet delivery systems to complex, multi-level structures of protocols and services. Our computer networking degree helps you quickly transition into a career in network operations and lets employers know that you have the knowledge to address network challenges such as scaling users and devices, assuring service availability, and maintaining the network's security.
Our computer networking degree will equip you with the engineering and operational skills required to create, operate, and defend complex computing and information networks. The program curriculum includes theory, operational labs, modern network architecture, advanced routing and switching, systems administration, cloud computing, wireless networking, and network defense and security. Security is a prevailing theme across all of these areas of study. You will be ready to take on a wide variety of IT positions in the private, public, and government sectors.

Optional Practical Training or OPT is a period during which students, who have completed their degrees in the USA, are permitted to work for one year on a student visa by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). OPT allows students to work for up to 3 years and develop real-world skills to survive in the competitive jobs market.
It is temporary employment for a period of 12-months that is directly related to the major area of study of an F-1 student. Eligible students have the option to apply for OPT employment authorization before completing their academic studies and/or after completing their academic studies.
A student can participate in three types of Optional Practical Training (OPT):
