“It is critical that today’s professionals have the skillsets needed to make impactful change within their organizations,” said President Dr. Cindy Gnadinger. “Students in this program will have the opportunity to broaden their understanding and grow as leaders in a wide range of fields.”
“The content of the program includes leadership, marketing, program design, and administration, providing a far-ranging impact,” said Dr. Kathy Kramer, dean of the School of Education and Human Services. “It also emphasizes authentic application through a capstone project, as students will research and propose a solution to a real-world issue in their own organization or field.”
Interdisciplinary courses from the School of Education and Human Services and the School of Business are delivered in a hybrid, in-person and online format through an 8-week delivery model. This program is appropriate for leaders in:

Optional Practical Training or OPT is a period during which students, who have completed their degrees in the USA, are permitted to work for one year on a student visa by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). OPT allows students to work for up to 3 years and develop real-world skills to survive in the competitive jobs market.
It is temporary employment for a period of 12-months that is directly related to the major area of study of an F-1 student. Eligible students have the option to apply for OPT employment authorization before completing their academic studies and/or after completing their academic studies.
A student can participate in three types of Optional Practical Training (OPT):
