Defend Canada’s most vital sectors:-
Operations technology (OT) cybersecurity requires skills and knowledge that aren’t used in information technology (IT) cybersecurity. As a graduate of Ontario's first college program to focus specifically on OT cybersecurity, you'll stand out by knowing how to protect systems and networks used in healthcare, military, government, manufacturing and other vital sectors
Apply theory in class and in the real world:-
Through lectures, discussions and case studies, you’ll learn how to integrate cybersecurity with OT, Industrial Control Systems, AI edge devices, smart manufacturing, Industrial Internet of Things and more. You’ll then apply that theory through simulations, labs and group projects. A capstone project and optional co-op term can help you develop real-world experience and industry contacts.
Flexible learning and multiple pathways:-
This program is designed to suit diverse learning needs and career goals. Most courses are available online or in person to provide maximum flexibility and accessibility. You can also choose to graduate after just two terms; complete a third-term co-op; or take a four-term PGWP-eligible program that includes courses about Canadian frameworks and practices.
Expert faculty and advanced technology
Learn from a diverse group of instructors who have extensive industry experience, advanced cybersecurity education and professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
They’ll teach you how to use a wide range of advanced technologies and tools, including:
Additional pathway information
The two-term, three-term and four-term pathway options share a common first year of core courses, and each uses experiential learning to develop your practical skills. The optional co-op term is an additional opportunity for you to apply your classroom knowledge in a real-world setting. The four-term pathway also includes a co-op and could be especially valuable if you’re an international student who wants to develop a deeper understanding of Canadian systems before starting your career.
