Program Overview

The BEng Engineering Management course sets up graduates for an engineering career in a continuous improvement, planning, supervisory or project management role.

The course will develop your technological problem solving skills and your organisational, planning and management abilities, providing you with the knowledge to successfully oversee complex engineering projects from start to finish.

One module would be taken each term along with the full-time students. If students want to take additional daytime modules from the programme then this could be accommodated by arrangement’.

UWS has a long-standing reputation for producing graduates who are sought-after by industry. Career opportunities include quality assurance and control, operations and maintenance management, facilities, health and safety, teaching and environmental management in roles such as project engineer.

UWS graduates work for leading companies including Rolls-Royce, Raytheon, Cummins, Thales, and BAE Systems. Others have begun careers in education as secondary school teachers and lecturers in colleges and universities
