Program Overview
In the Bachelor of Commerce, you’ll study a set of extensive and integrated foundation units that will orient you to commerce and business, followed by one or two majors to develop depth and specialisation in your chosen discipline. You’ll also acquire a set of sought-after employability skills – data literacy, business analysis, teamwork, communication, conflict resolution, problem solving, critical thinking and a global mindset, among others – all key competencies that today’s top employers regard extremely highly.

Those with a high-level understanding of the nuances of conducting business in a global context – cultural considerations, operations management of multinationals, human resources management and expansion into international territory – are in demand around the globe.
In the International Business major, you’ll learn why international business is different and how international business opportunities can be exploited. Centred on the study of international firms – their strategy, corporate policies and operations – it focuses on the institutional side of business, which is becoming increasingly important due to the globalisation of the business world.
