Advanced Certificate in 3D Computer Graphics

Program Overview

The 3D Computer Graphics (3DCG) program is an eight-month advanced certificate program, which means students need to have a diploma or degree in a related field such as digital media design, graphic design, fine arts, or architecture. The program complements RRC’s two-year Digital Media Design diploma program, and focuses on building skills in areas such as modeling, lighting, rendering, compositing, animation, motion capture and real-time 3d applications and production management.

Each student will be provided a 3D workstation and all the software needed to complete the program.

Graduates of the 3D Computer Graphics program may find employment in visual effects, motion graphics, video game design, 3D simulation and virtual/augmented reality, prototyping and 3D printing, and medical imaging industries. Some graduates may choose self-employment as freelance artists.
