Train as a physiotherapist on this postgraduate degree course at London Met. Our accelerated two-year qualifying course has been developed in collaboration with our highly experienced practice-based partners from a wide variety of health and social care settings, service users and student partners. This course will see you acquire knowledge of the clinical sciences underpinning physiotherapy practice, along with contemporary skills and attitudes to work flexibly across diverse settings within a modern health and social care sector.
As a physiotherapist you’ll play a pivotal role in enabling people with a wide range of health conditions to improve their health, wellbeing and quality of life. This could mean using different therapeutic approaches such as exercises, manual therapy, communication skills, coaching and education. It’s therefore no wonder that thanks to your specialism you’ll make up a vital part of multidisciplinary healthcare teams!

On this pre-registration physiotherapy course, compulsory practice-based learning will mean that you gain innovative opportunities with the NHS and private healthcare providers, as well as through the digital delivery of healthcare and our own University-led clinics and high-fidelity patient simulation.
As a member of our School of Human Sciences much of your studies will take place in our revered Science Centre. This will see you learning in our Superlab, the Revell Clinical Simulation Centre and the Sanderson Health and Wellbeing Centre.
When you study physiotherapy with us you can expect a blended approach which involves a combination of in-person and online teaching methods for lectures, seminars and group work, along with role plays and valuable practical teaching sessions in therapy rooms and clinical simulation suites.
