Program Overview
The discipline of Mechatronics Engineering intersects the fields of mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering, as well as artificial intelligence. Mechatronics engineers are skilled in combining these disciplines to design hardware and software for automation, autonomous systems, and smart, computer-controlled devices.
As a graduate of Mechatronics Engineering, you will work on designing and building advanced robotic systems, integrating mechanical components with electronics and software, and developing smart technologies that enhance machine efficiency and responsiveness.
Design, Implement and Develop Solutions: Graduates of our Mechatronics Engineering program will become experts in integrating mechanical and electronic/computer systems. Students will design, develop, and deploy robotics, automation systems, and the software that powers them.
Specialize in an Area of Study: Students in our Mechatronics Engineering program will have the option to specialize in one of these areas of study: Robotics-Control-AI or Manufacturing-Automation.
