Bachelor of Arts in Podcasting and Audio Storytelling

Program Overview

Audio stories are dynamically curated sonic snapshots of everyday life. They range from compelling conversations about news, sports, politics, and the arts, to elaborate audio features about a shared event or a cultural experience. They can also be influential nonfiction narrative works, a profile of a business leader, or a music documentary.

Among our professors, you will find award-winning professionals who are actively producing and hosting podcasts, as well as commercial, public, and community radio. You will have most recently seen their chart-topping work spotlighted in Apple Podcasts, featured as an Audio Selection at the Tribeca Film Festival, and celebrated on year-end lists, including the New York Times, The New Yorker, The Atlantic, and countless other publications.

Our faculty has also won awards for their groundbreaking work in the field - including the prestigious duPont-Columbia, Edward R. Murrow, and Peabody Awards. Additionally, our professors have experience adapting podcasts into Emmy-nominated television and film for AppleTV+ and Max.
