Foundation Studies Program

The Eynesbury College Foundation Studies Program (FSP) is an intensive program, preparing international students for entry into their first year of undergraduate study at the University of Adelaide or an Eynesbury Diploma.


Program Structure

Required modules: Students will study 3 core modules, as well as 3 elective modules in their area of study interest. Students will be graded on a score out of 500 which is used for entry to the University of South Australia

There are four delivery options for the Bachelor of Nursing. Studying at our City East campus, this program delivery has a blend of on-campus and online study, and mandatory on-campus practical components such as workshops.


What you'll learn

The Bachelor of Nursing prepares you for placement and your professional nursing career with more than 150 hours of hands-on learning in our Horizon Hospital and Health Service. You’ll also complete 1,000 hours in clinical settings across metro, regional and rural hospitals, and health services in South Australia.

During your studies, your learning will enable you to meet the seven interconnecting Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Registered Nurse standards for practice, which include the capacity to:

  • Think critically and analyse nursing practice
  • Engage in therapeutic and professional relationships
  • Maintain the capability for practice
  • Comprehensively conduct assessments
  • Develop a plan for nursing practice
  • Provide safe, appropriate and responsive quality nursing practice
