• Hundreds of students – doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, social workers and other medical professionals among them – can testify to the quality of our programme, having used it either to enhance their professional practice, to change career or to develop their research interests for future studies.
• Students will acquire analytical and research skills that can be used in a wide range of careers. In particular the course is ideal for enhancing professional development in fields such as midwifery, general practice, sexual health, psychiatry, nutrition, psychotherapy, public health, non-governmental agencies and international development.

How to apply for a Scholarship or Bursary at Brunel?
Our bursaries do not require an application. In the summer we will assess your grades and other eligibility criteria, such as household income and automatically award a bursary if found eligible, please see individual terms and conditions for full details.

Some Scholarships require an application, you may be asked some questions about yourself, your qualifications or why you want to come to Brunel, the answers to these questions will help the scholarship Panel determine who should get the scholarship. There are various options through which a student can get a post study work visa in the UK. 
Tier 1 Graduate Entrepreneur Visa for the graduates with a genuine and credible business idea. 
Tier 2 (General) is the leading immigration visa to work in the UK.
Tier 4 Doctorate Extension Scheme is for students who have completed their Ph.D. and is valid for 12 months for them to work, look for work or set up a business. 
Tier 5 Youth Mobility is for individuals of certain countries like Australia, Canada, Japan, Monaco, Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, and New Zealand aged between 18 -30 who wish to move to the UK.
