Leading to: Bachelor of Science majoring in Geophysics

Geophysics is the application of physical laws and techniques to study geological problems on Earth and bodies in the solar system. You’ll focus on skills and techniques that will allow you to understand the source of geophysical fields and how their variations can be used to infer the structure and composition of Earth’s interior.

Gain a comprehensive understanding of the tools and techniques used to investigate Earth’s interior. Experience hands-on field-based practicals and measure the physical properties of rocks in laboratory exercises. Take a visual step into the world of geophysics through interactive computer labs and apply your knowledge on a global, exploration and environmental scale.
