Careers:

• With our Computer Networks degree, you’ll build the skills you need to design, configure, manage and support networks in companies both big and small. You could work as a certified networking engineer in an organisation or even be self-employed.
• Alongside these skills, you’ll also acquire a solid understanding in a number of areas of computer science including programming, computer systems and digital security, providing a foundation for any number of careers including web development, IT systems or even creating your own apps.
• As part of your Computer Networks studies, the opportunity of a placement year could see you working in industry, making contacts and building up your experience and knowledge in the kind of environment you might ultimately work in.
• Graduation doesn’t need to be the end of your time with us, of course. You might decide to stay at ARU and study for a Masters, such as our MSc Cyber Security. Take advantage of our Alumni Scholarship and get 20% off your fees.

There are various options through which a student can get a post study work visa in the UK. 
Tier 1 Graduate Entrepreneur Visa for the graduates with a genuine and credible business idea.

Tier 4 Doctorate Extension Scheme is for students who have completed their Ph.D. and is valid for 12 months for them to work, look for work or set up a business.
