Program Overview

The School of Motion Picture Arts at Capilano University offers a two year long undergraduate diploma in the field of Costuming for Stage & Screen. The aforementioned program is exclusively designed for students who wish to study the technical and creative aspects of costume designing and production for theatre and film. The course provides numerous opportunities for students to score jobs in the professional world owing to the practical experience provided in this program. 

Students learn a number of procedures and concepts involved in costuming such as costume history, textiles, wardrobe management and cutting and construction techniques.
