Why Earn Your BS in Cybersecurity?
Concepts such as smart devices and the cloud are increasingly part of everyday life. While these concepts offer efficiency and convenience, they also provide cybercriminals with new ways to break into and unlawfully gather personal data. These breaches can wreak havoc on a corporate level; according to IBM, data breaches cost an average of $4.45 million.
Because of this, more companies are realizing the value of investing in cybersecurity. For those equipped with a BS in Cybersecurity, this can translate into ample job opportunities within a growing field. These cybersecurity programs, such as the one offered by New England College, prepare individuals to develop expertise in the many facets of cybersecurity, from network design maintenance to system efficiency.
