A UNT Real Estate degree with a Residential Property Management concentration prepares you to make investment and management decisions. You'll explore aspects of real estate transactions, from residential to commercial to international, and learn about property appraisal, finance and management.
Why Earn a Residential Property Management Real Estate Degree?
The Residential Property Management concentration focuses on the multifamily housing industry and is available at a limited number of universities. It's been developed in consultation with the Texas Apartment Association and the Apartment Industry. Graduates will understand real estate and property management's legal environment, valuation of real estate assets and market research.

The program is supported by a strong UNT Real Estate Alumni Group which contributes time, mentoring, internships and scholarships. An active Student Real Estate Club, one of the largest clubs on the UNT campus, organizes guest speakers, field trips and fun activities.

Minimum Level of Education Required: To be accepted into this program, applicants must have Grade 12 / High School Diploma.
Optional Practical Training or OPT is a period during which students, who have completed their degrees in the USA, are permitted to work for one year on a student visa by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). OPT allows students to work for up to 3 years and develop real-world skills to survive in the competitive jobs market.
It is temporary employment for a period of 12-months that is directly related to the major area of study of an F-1 student. Eligible students have the option to apply for OPT employment authorization before completing their academic studies and/or after completing their academic studies.
