The M.B.A. with a concentration in Health Services Management prepares you to facilitate the practice of health care by providing the solid business management skills and industry specific knowledge needed to effectively lead today's health care organizations.
The M.B.A. with a concentration in Health Services Management allows you the opportunity to study the major systems that comprise health care organizations: governance, finance, clinical services and human resources.
You'll learn to identify and understand the best practices and processes of the well-managed health care organization in its variety of forms (ambulatory care, acute care, long-term care, home health, and so forth). The program provides you with skills needed to effectively coordinate, integrate, and improve the quality of health services.
In this way, we hope to prepare you for the many opportunities and unique challenges of a continuously changing health care industry.

Optional Practical Training or OPT is a period during which students, who have completed their degrees in the USA, are permitted to work for one year on a student visa by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). OPT allows students to work for up to 3 years and develop real-world skills to survive in the competitive jobs market.
It is temporary employment for a period of 12-months that is directly related to the major area of study of an F-1 student. Eligible students have the option to apply for OPT employment authorization before completing their academic studies and/or after completing their academic studies.
