Program Overview

Lassonde School of Engineering

From modern telecommunication systems to renewable power generation or medical devices, electrical engineers develop technologies that make a huge impact on the world across many industries. Go from creative to creator and l harness physics and mathematics to gain in-depth knowledge of power electronics, signal processing, assistive medical devices and more.

Our Electrical Engineering program is accredited by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board (CEAB).

What You'll Learn

We will teach you about the big concepts that make?up electrical engineering. You will then gain in-depth?knowledge as you learn about designing a whole slew of?power electronics, signal processors and?medical/assistive devices in your upper years.

Your theoretical knowledge will be balanced by hands?on experience. If you geek out over gadgets, just wait?until you get into our Robotics Lab. You will also have access?to our Digital Logic Lab and the Multimedia Lab.

After second year, you can pursue co-op opportunities, gaining professional experience to get a head start towards becoming a licensed Professional Engineer.
