Program Overview

Students in the Cinema and Media Arts - Screenwriting (BFA) program experientially learn to understand, think and work in the language of the moving image across all media. The integrated curriculum offers exceptional training across the spectrum from idea to screenplay, camera to screen, and screen to critical inquiry.

With intimate support, intensive learning, and extensive mentorship by internationally recognized faculty members, students focus on creating screenwriting portfolios of numerous short screenplays, feature screenplays, television series, and new media. Collaboration is paramount as students collaborate with production students to see their work brought to life on screen.
