Your BFA degree will be respected by employers looking for creative talent to join their team. AUM will help connect you to like-minded individuals and organizations to create your own professional network. In addition to offering classes in their areas of expertise, each faculty member maintains an active practice devoted to creative work, exhibitions, academic research and scholarly publishing, or public performance.
The visual arts training this concentration provides, along with the other liberal arts components of the curriculum, forms a solid foundation for jobs in advertising, marketing, crafts, entrepreneurship and other career endeavors. You’ll sharpen your skills and develop your singular artistic voice alongside successful faculty artists in small classes and studios that are highly interactive. You’ll be free to express yourself in a supportive and collaborative environment as you build your portfolio.
