Program Overview
The B.F.A. in Art is considered the professional undergraduate degree in studio art and is designed to provide students with a thorough grounding in fundamental principles and techniques with opportunities for emphasis in one or more specific studio art areas.
Program Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate application of formal elements and principles, artistic genres, stylistic categories, materials and techniques and contextual factors to art making and analysis.
