Program Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering program prepares students for the design, development, and manufacturing of machinery and devices at all scales in the area of energy production and transfer, as well as the vast area of system design and control. Students will have a thorough knowledge of engineering principles and methods to drive creativity and innovation through such subjects as computer-aided design and visualization, robotics, bioengineering, environmental engineering, and solar exploration.

Program Overview

Students will learn how to address critical societal needs through research solutions in energy efficiency and the environment, biomechanics, robotics and other emerging technologies. The program also emphasizes computer applications, professional ethics, and the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
