Master of Education (ISP) with Specialization in Teaching, Learning and Development

Program Overview

The Master of Education Internationally-educated Student Pathway (MEd ISP) is designed for international students and begins with an intensive term reviewing Canadian educational foundations to assist with the transition into graduate school. With a focus on administration and leadership in education, and another on teaching, learning and development, the curriculum is designed to provide international students an opportunity to enhance their academic background. They will also gain a greater understanding of Canadian issues and challenges in achievement of academic inquiry skills in educational research. The eleven half-credit courses of the MEd ISP are organized into an intensive, 4 term program. This program does not lead to the Ontario Certified Teachers designation, which is required to teach in public schools in Ontario.
